#1861 - Paul Caponigro
“Silence and Presence. Both are needed in order to see and feel and make a photograph.”

~ Paul Caponigro

Paul moved through life in his own distinct manner—quietly, gracefully, and with a keen sensitivity to everything around him. In that time, he built a body of work unlike any other, one that few photographers could hope to emulate. His vision was precise yet expansive, his eye attentive to the subtle rhythms of light, form, and gesture. To call him a master of his craft feels almost insufficient; one need only spend time with his work to be left speechless, and in awe.
