Pentti is one of the greatest living photographers, and one of the most humble, down-to-earth, intelligent, and sensitive artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I took this on our first meeting in Helsinki over twenty years ago, when we took a small boat ride around the city. All these years later, his work is as inspiring and fresh as the first day I saw it, when the master Henri Cartier-Bresson showed it to me at his home in 2003. He is so positive in the humanity and joy he spreads. Long may he flourish!
