“There are days when the simple act of seeing appears to be true happiness”
~ Robert Doisneau
(1912-1994)
It is 1969 at The Louvre. There are no grand heists going on and the Museum is not completely crowded with thousands of tourists pouring into it from all over the world. Robert is there on one of his daily walks around the city. It’s a simple, tender moment of a young boy with his dog, a sight most of us would not have even noticed, but in the eyes of a master with a genius for composition it becomes something else.
A frozen moment of pure joy.
