“To appreciate the beauty of a snowflake, it is necessary to stand out in the cold.”

~ Aristotle

Bruce had a special way of documenting the many faces of his native New York City. In crime, community, love, and landscapes, his work challenges us to decide how we should feel. This soft, snowy, winter wonderland of Central Park leaves me feeling a need for warmth… or a curiosity of what could be unfolding beyond the frame. I’m still left wondering as I always have with his work.
