#1853 - Brigitte Carnochan
"The lovely flowers embarrass me. They make me regret I am not a bee."

~ Emily Dickinson

Brigitte Carnochan turned to one of nature’s most photographed subjects and found herself captivated. What might have been a familiar motif became, through her eyes, an ongoing exploration of beauty. Working mostly in her own garden, she need only step a few feet from her darkroom to encounter the flowers that inspire her. There, in the quiet rhythm of her surroundings, she transforms these everyday forms—petals, stems, fleeting moments of bloom—into luminous photographic prints. It is Brigitte who brings the magic, elevating the ordinary into something radiant, graceful, and wholly her own.
