I had the great honor to collaborate closely with Ruth for the last 20 years of her life. She was just one of the most exciting, stimulating and intellectually challenging people to be around, right up to the end at 101 years old. This is one of Ruth’s most tender nudes. It appears simple, yet I know Ruth spent countless hours considering how to create this quiet magic.
