I have lived with and studied the work of Bill Brandt now for so many years, but the work never ceases to amaze and intrigue me. It always seems fresh and totally original. He is justly celebrated for his extraordinary nudes. He often used a wide angle lens, close up, causing the body to be distorted. Real and surreal, always alive.
