"What always fascinates me about your work is that you always wrap a woman, mostly in black, yet every time you find a new idea"

~ Sarah Moon

"When I start working on a collection, I’m always looking for myself, for a surprise. Sometimes when I feel very excited by wrapping a body, I feel it might be a gift"

~ Yohji Yamamoto

Here is a meeting of two great artists who have inspired each other for over 30 years now. Sarah is one of the most unique and magical photographers of the 20th Century. Yohji Yamamoto is one of Japan’s most distinguished designers. His influence in avant garden fashion has been felt for decades. His unique interpretation of the human form has inspired countless designers. What Sarah and Yohji have in common is they capture dreams. They both create their own worlds, filled with nostalgia, stillness and silence and above all beauty. We and the world need them even more now.
