”The camera is a remarkable instrument. Saturate yourself with your subject and the camera will but take you by the hand and point the way”

~ Margaret Bourke-White
(1904-1971)

Margaret Bourke-White was one of the 20th century’s most courageous and respected photographers. From the 1920s to the 1950s, she was energetic and fearless in documenting the objects, people, and events that shaped history.
She achieved her initial fame as an industrial photographer, and this is a rare signed early print of one of her greatest images—a love poem to the industrial power and glory of Cleveland, and to an American golden age.
