"I am a visual man, I watch, watch, watch. I understand things through my eyes"
~ Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004)
This is one of Henri’s greatest landscapes. It is also one of his most seductive images. He invites us to join him to explore a country lane that appears to be coming off a larger road and a tree-less field. There are trees on each side of the lane..the trees are tall and have straight trunks. The canopies of leaves join the outline of the joined tops and is almost shaped like a heart. Henri loves his country and we fall in love too.
