Flor is deeply rooted in her Mexican culture, carrying on a long tradition of photography pioneered by one of her true mentors Manuel Alvarez Bravo. She is able to depict how life’s scenes unfold before her. Her subject matter extends to the areas native cultures where myth and its representation in rituals still survive.
