#1213 - Steve McCurry

“People always ask me “How do you relate to people. How do you get people to open up and relax?" I think it is just a question of experience. I think it’s a question of enjoying being with people.”

~ Steve McCurry

Steve McCurry's great images are characterized by his exceptional composition, vivid use of color, and storytelling prowess. His ability to consistently capture the essence of his subjects with technical skill and human connection will always amaze me and has made him a highly respected photographer. This image checks all the boxes. Amazing composition, color that wows and a great story.

“Steve McCurry: The Endless Traveler” will be on view January 27th - April 27th, 2024 at the gallery alongside our concurrent exhibition, "Jeffrey Conley, An Ode to Nature".

The exhibition features a selection of Steve's greatest images from across the world, that have touched the hearts and minds of so many. Iconic images will include Steve McCurry's Afghan Girl, which graced the cover of National Geographic in 1985.
