Sarah’s images always have an undefinable quality that goes way beyond the simple category of “fashion” photography or “editorial” photography. They inhabit the world of fine art. That’s what her images are without doubt. She takes us into her own unique space way beyond reality where beauty resides and time stops for a special moment of connection for us, her devoted audience. I find it hard to leave this space. You have to drag me away kicking and screaming. She understands the nuance of the gesture a skilled model can contribute to the “mise en scene" because that is how she started out as a talented model herself before she found her true calling. And how fortunate we all are that she made this transition.
