#1926 - Don McCullin
“Don’s a very cool guy. He is one of the great British photographers. We thought we’ve got to be the war. We’ll provide the battlefield and it’ll work. He’ll just click into action. That’s exactly what happened.”

~ Paul McCartney

Those of us who are somewhat obsessed with The Beatles because it was our youth can't seem to ever get enough memories. Morgan Neville’s great new documentary about Paul McCartney’s founding of Wings, “Man on the Run,” is pure joy. It’s not only a tale of reinvention, but it is also so insightful about the creative process and what dedication and pure hard work it takes for any gifted artist to keep growing and remain relevant. It’s a really inspiring film. Paul is still at it at 83 years old, and our dear friend Don McCullin just turned 90 and never stops either. I think these are two of the greatest, most anarchic and spirited Beatles images ever—rarely seen.

Long may these creative spirits thrive!
