Robert was deeply humble and got embarrassed when honors were bestowed on him .
He was even more uncomfortable when curators called him “an artist”.
He thought of himself as. just a craftsman., going about his job , a simple poet of the streets.
But to many like myself he was one of the greatest poets of the streets and in truth of course a great, great artist
