“I don’t take many photographs. It has to be something that grabs me and then obviously you have to able to catch that moment. There are a lot of things that grab your attention but you can still miss the shot!” ~Roger DeakinsRoger certainly didn’t miss the shot this time around.. Whilst he was location scouting he had noticed this “Bar” sign in a remote part of New Mexico. When shooting had finished early one day because of impending storms he jumped in his car and drove back 40 miles to this location sensing something might happen. He waited patiently as all great photographers do and his instincts proved right. The sudden lightning triggered him to press his own trigger and magic happened.
